There seems to be a heated discussion on unFiction about *where* what I am referring to as the "Twinkie thread" should be.

First of all, in a previous post when I said that I was "demoted", I wasn't entirely serious. I personally contacted the PMs and told them, in essence, "do whatever you think is right." Recently, because of the reaction to the moving of that thread, I've had unFiction admins humbly apologizing... to me... about moving the thread.

I applaud the activity of the fans in that thread; as I've mentioned to many of you, I consider it quite an honor to have acquired such a following without actually doing anything, and gathering said following by presence alone.

But, let's face it, that's not a trailhead. And, to be quite honest, it would bother me if it did become a trailhead (you have to take certain assumptions of what a "trailhead" should be). When this game finally launches (soon, I tell you! Soon! I'm just waiting for some Fedex deliveries, for the printing presses to stop, for the yak to finally give birth and... Oh, I've said too much...), I want things to start the way they should. When that time comes, leave that thread as a tribute thread or something, or archive it (I think it's reached legendary status at this point), and start a new like any other proper ARG should have (and, trust me, you're gonna need new threads).

In the meantime, to all those who are lobbying for the status of that thread: you have my utmost respect over your dedication, but I ask you all to please abide by the wishes of unFiction. Besides, even if it does stay in "Various & Sundry", that shouldn't stop all of you from continuing the debate.

In time, we will take over the "News" forum anyway. We're just postponing the inevitable...

Now, how can I work this in to my storyline... You guys don't make this easy...
