Apparently I now have all of PayPal trying to resolve my problem.

FYI: For other reasons, I've removed the donation link from the right side navigation.

Just as well. I spoke with the "Escalation Department" at PayPal, and they're completely clueless as to what's going on with my account. They can't even guarantee that I can receive money in the first place.

I'm waiting for the next time I call to be transferred to the "Holy S*** It's Serious Department".

In the meantime I created an alternate account just in case someone out there is dying to send something: support@brainclouds.net

I have no idea of this new account can receive funds or not (I think the limit is $500/month); I haven't "Verified" it, added a bank account or credit card to it. Eventually I'll *somehow* figure out how to get money out of it in case somebody does send anything, but I'd rather have that and bitch to PayPal for help (I think I have just cause at this point) than to not have anything available.

I wish I could give it a fancy name, like the "Burn PayPal's IT Department To the Ground Fund", but they might frown on that...

*EDIT*
For the cheap seats, Scott Thompson is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for PayPal. No, I don't mean the guy from Kids in the Hall...
