Walking the Edge of Reality

A look behind the curtain to my world...
Grim Details
Friday, November 07, 2008 3:48 AM

Tim Schafer has released the original puzzle design document to LucasArts' Grim Fandango, a game one of the most entertaining bits of interactive fiction of the era.

The design document is an amazing, albeit long, read. It's the sort of thing I and every other game designer should aspire to put together prior to a game launch. I only wish I could put together such a thing, and leave little to doubt during the game's execution.

Anyway, the above link should be a treat for you old timers who remember Grim Fandango. It should also be of interest to those aspiring game designers to see how things are planned in the real world.
